Whether you're planning a commercial photo session, styled shoot, or branded content campaign—Mountain Field Farm offers a unique, stunning backdrop in the Matanuska Valley. We accept a limited number of commercial shoots each season to protect the integrity of our venue and guest experience.

Rental Options & Pricing

We offer two types of sessions depending on your project needs—from full-scale commercial shoots to simple outdoor portraits. All sessions must be booked in advance to ensure availability and avoid conflicts with private events or overnight guests.

Full-Day Commercial Shoot – $1,500

For brand shoots, styled sessions, or professional productions

Includes:

  • Exclusive access to the entire property (up to 12 hours)

  • Use of the barn, greenhouse, flower fields, and surrounding grounds

  • Cleaning fee included

  • Parking available for crew and clients

  • Indoor power supply, space for wardrobe changes, and equipment staging

  • On-site bathroom access

  • For up to 10 people (larger productions quoted upon request)

Outdoor Only Session – $495

Ideal for a single portrait session (e.g., senior photos, maternity, family)

Includes:

  • 2-hour outdoor access only (no indoor use)

  • Use of flower fields, greenhouse, and surrounding grounds

  • Intended for one client group per session (not multiple back-to-back minis)

  • Parking available for clients and photographer

  • Bathrooms not guaranteed; staff may not be on-site during this time

What We Ask of You:

  • All commercial shoots must:

    • Provide proof of general liability insurance ($1M minimum)

    • List Mountain Field Farm LLC as Additional Insured for the date of use OR secure a single-day event policy.

    • Treat the space with respect and leave it how you found it

    • Do not move furniture without permission (fee applies if items aren’t returned to place or damaged)

    • Share a brief description of your shoot (purpose, style, media use)

    • Submit full contact information and estimated crew size

    • Parties or events

    • Boudoir or content that conflicts with our venue values

    • Overnight Stays
